चित्रक्रम २१ : अग्निकुमार (द्वैपायन) द्वारा द्वारका विनाश भगवान अरिष्टनेमि द्वारा कथित भविष्य का दृश्य)
अग्निकुमार (द्वैपायन) ने द्वारका में अग्निवर्षा की। राजमहल व अन्य भवन आदि धू-धू कर जल उठे। वासुदेव श्रीकृष्ण व बलराम ने माता-पिता को जलते महलों से निकालकर रथ में बैठाया। अश्वशाला जल जाने से घोड़े भी नहीं मिले तो दोनों भाई स्वयं ही रथ में जुत गए। रथ लेकर नगर के सिंहद्वार से जैसे ही बाहर निकले कि जलता हुआ द्वार टूटकर गिर पड़ा। तत्काल वसुदेव-देवकी की मृत्यु हो गई। यह अत्यन्त कारुणिक दृश्य देखकर दोनों भाई व्यथित हो गये।

Illustration No. 21 : Destruction of Dwarakā by fiery god (Dwaipayanā) (The scene which was foretold by Bhagawāna Aristanemi) ___Fiery god (Dwaipāyana) rained the flames of fire on Dwārakā city. Royal palace and other buildings began to burn. Vasudeva Sri Krsna and Balarama taking out parents from burning palace, made them to sit down in chariot. They could not get horses then both the brothers themselves began to draw chariot like horses. As soon as this stepped out from the main gate of the city, the burning main gate fell down. The same moment Vasudevu and Devaki died. Seeing this pitiable scene both the brothers fclt much worried.
