जम्बूदीप के पूर्व दिशा में विजयद्वार है जिसके स्वामी विजय नामक देव हैं। उनकी राजधानी , विजया है जो यहाँ से असंख्यात योजन दूरी पर है। विजया बारह लाख योजन आयाम-विष्कम्भ वाली || कही गई है। मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम राम, जो बलदेव कहे गए हैं, की आयु बारह सौ वर्ष बतायी गई है, | वे अपनी आयु पूर्णकर देवत्व को प्राप्त हुए अर्थात् देव गति को गए। मूल में बारह योजन विस्तार |
वाली मन्दरपर्वत की चूलिका है। जम्बूद्वीप नामक इस द्वीप की वेदिका मूल में बारह योजन विस्तार वाली बतायी गई है।
The Vijaydwar is situated in East direction of Jambu continent and the name of the chief god of this Vijaydwar is Vijay, the capital is Vijaya which is innumerable yojanas far away from here. The length and width of this city has been said of twelve lacs yojana, the life span of Ram, who has been said colord (Baldev) has been said as twelve hundred years, who having completed his age reincarnated as god(celestial being). At the root, the summit (Chulika) of mountain Mander has the expansion of twelve yojanas. There is a platform (Vedika) of the continent of Jambu Dweep, the expansion of the root of the Vedika has been told of twelve yojanas.
८१-सव्वजहणिया राई दुवालसमुहुत्तिआ पण्णत्ता। एवं दिवसोवि नायव्वो।
सबसे छोटी रात अर्थात् सर्वजघन्य रात्रि और सबसे छोटा दिन बारह-बारह मुहूर्त के कहे गए हैं। अर्थात् बारह मुहूर्त की सबसे छोटी रात और बारह मुहूर्त का ही सबसे छोटा दिन होता है।
The time span of the shortest night and the shortest day is said to be of twelve-twelve (muhurat) respectively, it means the shortest night has a maximum time span of twelve muhurat and the shortest day also has a maximum time span of twelve muhurat.
८२-सव्वट्ठसिद्धस्स णं महाविमाणस्स उवरिल्लाओ थुभिअग्गाओ दुवालस जोयणाई उड्ढे उप्पइया ईसिपब्भार नाम पुढवी पण्णत्ता। ईसिपब्भाराए णं पुढवीए दुवालस नामधेजा पण्णत्ता, तं जहा-ईसि त्ति वा, ईसिपब्भारा त्ति वा, तणू इ वा, तणुयतरि त्ति वा, सिद्धि त्ति वा, सिद्धालए त्ति वा, मुत्ती त्ति वा, मुत्तालए त्ति वा, बंभे त्ति वा, बंभवडिंसए त्ति वा,
लोकपडिपूरणे त्ति वा लोगग्गचूलिआई वा। ___ईषत् प्राग्भारपृथ्वी, सर्वार्थसिद्ध महाविमान की उपरिम स्तूपिका यानि चूलिका से बारह योजन
ऊपर कही गई है। यह पृथ्वी बारह नामों से अभिहित है, यथा – १. ईषत् पृथ्वी, २. ईषत् प्राग्भार । * पृथ्वी, ३. तनु पृथ्वी, ४. तनुतरी पृथ्वी, ५. सिद्धि पृथ्वी, ६. सिद्धालय, ७. मुक्ति, ८. मुक्तालय, ९. ब्रह्म, 5] १०. ब्रह्मावतंसक, ११. लोक प्रतिपूरणा, १२. लोकाग्रचूलिका।
