साधु के सत्ताईस गुण ___ मन, वचन, काय को पाप जनक क्रियाओं से हटाकर धर्म-क्रियाओं में संयोजित करने वाला साधु | 5 होता है। मन, वचन और कर्म-इन तीनों स्तरों पर साधु स्वयं को पूर्णतः साध लेता है। इस साधना से उसके || जीवन के सभी दुर्गुण दूर हो जाते हैं। वह सद्गुणों का अक्षय कोष बन जाता है।
सूत्र संख्या 178 में साधु के सत्ताईस गुणों का उल्लेख हुआ है। इन सत्ताईस प्रधान गुणों में ही अन्य असंख्य गुणों का समावेश हो जाता है।
चित्र के चारों कोनों पर इन्सैट चित्रों का भावार्थ इस प्रकार है| (1) कमल : जैसे जल में रहकर भी कमल उससे अछूता रहता है, ऐसे ही साधु संसार में रहकर भी उससे
अछूता रहता है। (2) भंवरा : जैसे भंवरा फूलों को नुकसान पहुंचाये बिना ही उनसे उदर-पोषण कर लेता है, ऐसे ही साधु
गृहस्थों पर भार न बनकर थोड़ा-थोड़ा आहार प्राप्त कर उदरपोषण कर लेता है। (3) जैसे सिंह निर्भय होकर जंगल में घूमता है, ऐसे ही साधु निर्भय-मन से साधना-मार्ग में विचरण करता
(4) जैसे हीरा किसी भी प्रहार को झेल लेता है ऐसे ही साधु सभी परीषहों को समभाव से झेल लेता है।
-सूत्र 178 27 Attributions of an Ascetic An ascetic is one who is indulged in religious activities driving off sinful activities of mind, speech and body. The ascetic absolutely get accomplished himself at the level of all the three-mind, speech and body. Through this accomplishment he remains away from all the perverted activities. He becomes the indestructive treasure of pious virtues.
In aphorism no. 178 the twenty seven virtues of monk have been described. The other innumerable virtues are automatically gets included in these twenty seven main virtues.

ascetic remains untouched white performing mundane activities. 2. Black bee: As such the black bee collects food from the flowers without hurting them so as
the ascetic feeds himself by collected food in a little quarterly from so many households without disturbing any one householder. Such as the lion wanders undaunted in the forest so as the ascetic moves forward on the
path of spirituality having no fear in mind. 4. Such as the diamond can endure the heaviest stroke so as the ascetic faces all the afflictions
