योजन अवगाहन करने पर चार महापाताल कलश कहे गए हैं। यथा - १. वड़वामुख महापातल कलश,
२. केतुक महापाताल कलश, ३. यूपक महापाताल कलश, ४. ईश्वर महापाताल कलश ।
लवण समुद्र के उभय पार्श्व पंचानवें- पंचानवें प्रदेश पर उद्वेध (गहराई ) व उत्सेध ( ऊँचाई ) वाले कहे गए हैं।
From the extreme end part of this Jambu continent in all the four directions going ninety five yojanas further into the Lavan Ocean, there has been said of four underground giant pitchers as :- 1. Badvamukh Maha Patal Kalash, 2. Ketuk Maha Patal Kalash, 3. Yupak Maha Patal Kalash, 4. Ishwar Maha Patal Kalash. On both the sides of Ocean Lavan has been said of depth and height at the distance of ninety five-ninety five space points.
४३१-कुंथू णं अरहा पंचाणउई वाससहस्साइं परमाउयं पालइत्ता सिद्धे बुद्धे जाव सव्वदुक्खप्पहीणे । थेरे णं मोरियपुत्ते पंचाणउइवासाई सव्वाउयं पालइत्ता सिद्धे बुद्धे जाव सव्वदुक्खप्पहीणे।
कुन्थु अर्हत् पंचानवें हजार वर्ष की आयु भोग कर सिद्ध-बुद्ध हुए। वे कर्मों से मुक्ति पाकर परिनिर्वाण को प्राप्त हुए । अन्ततोगत्वा वे सर्व दुःखों से रहित हो गए।
इसी प्रकार स्थविर मौर्यपुर पंचानवें वर्ष की आयु सम्पन्न कर सिद्ध, बुद्ध, मुक्त, परिनिवृत्त और सर्व-दुखों से रहित हुए ।
Arihant Kunthu Nath attained liberation at the age of ninety five thousand years. After emanciating all the accumulated karmas he got Parinirvana i.e. the ultimate goal of life. Ultimately he became devoid of all the miseries and sufferings.
