निषध, नीलवंत पर्वत ____ महाविदेह क्षेत्र की दक्षिण सीमा पर निषध तथा उत्तरी सीमा पर नीलवंत पर्वत स्थित है। निषध नीलवंत | * पर्वत समपृथ्वी से 400 योजन ऊँचे तथा समपृथ्वी के अन्दर 400 गव्यूति अर्थात् 100 योजन गहरे हैं। इन * पर्वतों के ऊपर मणिरत्नों से युक्त अनेक कूट हैं। निषध-नीवंत पर्वत पर नौ-नौ कूट हैं। -श्लोक 462
वक्षस्कार पर्वत ये पर्वत अश्वस्कन्ध के आकार के हैं अर्थात् आगे से ऊँचे और पीछे से कुछ झुके हुए नीचे, इसलिए इन्हें वक्षस्कार पर्वत कहा जाता है। यह पर्वत निषध तथा नीलवंत पर्वतों के पास 400 योजन ऊँचे और 100 योजन | गहराई वाले हैं। लम्बाई में विजय प्रमाण लम्बे हैं।
चित्त-विचित्त, यमक-यमक पर्वत ___ नीलवंत पर्वत से उत्तरकुरु में दक्षिण दिशा में आगे जाने से सीता महानदी के दोनों किनारों पर दो यमक पर्वत स्थित हैं। इसी प्रकार निषध पर्वत से देवकुरु क्षेत्र में उत्तर दिशा में आगे जाने पर सीतोदा नदी के दोनों किनारों पर चित्त-विचित्त पर्वत स्थित हैं। ये चारों पर्वत समपृथ्वी से एक-एक हजार योजन ऊँचे 1,000 कोस
समपृथ्वी के अन्दर गहरे हैं। तल में यह पर्वत 1,000 योजन चौड़े हैं तथा ऊपर 500 योजन चौड़े हैं। इनका * आकार कोन की तरह है।

____The Mountain "Nishadha and Neelvanta" ।
On the North boundary of Mavavideh region the Neelvant and on the South boundary of it 'the Nishadha Mountain are situated. These two mountains are four * hundred yojans high and one hundred yojans (400 kosa) from the surface of the earth. * There are many summits endowed with gems and jewels on these mountains. Nishadha and Neelvanta Mountain have nine summits each.
Samvayang verse 462 Mountain "Vakshaskar" These mountains are of the shape of horse body-which means high from the front part and inclined from the rear part So it these mountains are called “Vakshaskar". * These mountains are situated near the Nishadha and Neelvanta Mountains at the height
of 400 yojans and at the depth of one hundred yojans. The length of these mountains are | equal to the lengthof Vijay'.
___Samvayang verse 462 The Mountain "Chit-Vichit" and "Yamak-Yamak" The mountains named Yamak are situated on both the banks of the great river Sita going ahead in the south direction in North Kuru from mountain Neelvant. In the same way the mountains Chit-Vichit are situated on both the banks of great river Sitoda going ahead in the North direction in the area of Dev Kuru from the Mountain Nishidha. These four mountains are one thousand yojans high and 250 yojans deep from the surface of the earth. At the bottom the expansion of these mountains are one thousand yojans wide and at the peak 500 yojans wide. The shape of these mountains are conical.
