माहेन्द्र, ब्रह्म, लान्तक, शुक्र, सहस्रार, आनत, प्राणत, आरण, अच्युत कल्पों में वैमानिक देव, ग्रैवेयकों | में वैमानिक देव तथा अनुत्तरों में वैमानिक देव। उन वैमानिक देवों के विमानों की संख्या चौरासी लाख सत्तानवें हजार और तेईस कही गई है।
O Lord! What the counting of residences of the gods of heaven has been said?
O Gautam! The very smooth surface of the Ratanprabha hell is very charming. About it, it has been stated that crossing the moon, sun, planets, constellations and stars going high many yojans, many a hundred yojans, many a thousand yojans, many a hundred thousand yojans, many a crore yojans, many crore into crore yojans and innumerable crore into crore yojans crossing the sky so many celestial beings (Vaimanik Dev) have been residing there as :Saudharma, Ishan, Sanat Kumar, Mahendera, Brahma, Lantak, Shukra, Sahsrar, Anat, Pranat, Aran, Achyut Kalpas, celestial beings of Graivayak and Anuttar celestial vehicles. The total number of all these celestial vehicles has been said eighty four lacs ninety seven thousand and twenty three.
५९१-ते णं विमाणा अच्चिमालिप्पभा भासरासिवण्णाभा अरया निरया णिम्मला वितिमिरा विसुद्धा सव्वरयणामया अच्छा सहा घट्ठा मट्ठा णिप्पंका णिकंकडच्छाया सप्पभा | सस्सिरीया सउज्जोया पासाईया दरिसणिज्जा अभिरूवा पडिरूवा।। ___वे विमान सूर्य-प्रभा सदृश प्रभा युक्त हैं, प्रकाश पुंजों के सदृश भासुर हैं। वे रज-रहित-नीरज
हैं, निर्मल व अन्धकार रहित हैं, विशुद्ध हैं, मरीचि-युक्त हैं, उद्योत-सहित हैं, मन को प्रसन्नता का | अनुभव कराने वाले दर्शनीय हैं, अभिरूप-प्रतिरूप हैं।
These celestial vehicles are endowed with the same hue as the sun and lustrous like the sunshine. These are without any dust, devoid of dirt, clean and devoid of darkness. These are pure, pervaded by radiant, are with luster, and are worth seeing and mind pleasing.
५९२-सोहम्मे णं भंते! कप्पे केवइया विमाणावासा पण्णत्ता?
गोयमा! बत्तीसं विमाणावाससयसहस्सा पण्णत्ता। एवं ईसाणाइसु अट्ठावीसं वारस अट्ठ | चत्तारि एयाई सयसहस्साई पण्णासं चत्तालीसं छ-एयाइं सहस्साई आणए पाणए चत्तारि | आरणच्चुए तिन्नि एयाणि सयाणि एवं गाहाहिं भाणियव्वं।
भगवन्! सौधर्मकल्प में विमानावासों की संख्या कितनी कही गयी है? गौतम! सौधर्मकल्प में विमानावासों की संख्या बत्तीस लाख कही गयी है। इसी प्रकार ईशानादि
