३०५-गोथूभस्स णं आवासपव्वयस्स पच्चथिमिल्लाओ चरमंताओ वलयामुहस्स महापायालस्स बहुमज्झदेसभाए एस णं अट्ठावन्नं जोयणसहस्साइं अबाहाए अंतरे पण्णत्ते। एवं चउद्दिसं पि नेयव्वं।
गोस्तुभ आवास पर्वत के पश्चिमी चरमान्त भाग से बड़वामुख महापाताल के बहुमध्य देशभाग का अन्तर अट्ठावन हजार योजन बिना किसी बाधा के कहा गया है। इसी प्रकार चारों ही दिशाओं में जानना चाहिए।
There the Gostubh residence Mountain is situated. उनसठवां समवाय
The Fifty Nineth Samvaya ३०६-चंदस्स णं संवच्छरस्स एगमेगे उऊ एगूणसर्टि राइंदियाइं राइंदियग्गेणं पण्णत्ते।
चन्द्रमा की गति की अपेक्षा से माने जाने वाले संवत्सर को चन्द्रसंवत्सर कहा गया है। इस की एक-एक ऋतु रात-दिन की गणना से उनसठ रात्रि-दिन की कही गई है।
The year which is observed on the basis of moon's movement has been said the moon year (şamvatsar). According to the counting in days and nights its each and every season (Ritu) has been said of fifty nine days and nights.
३०७-संभवे णं अरहा एगूणसद्धिं पुव्वसयसहस्साई अगारमझे वसित्ता मुंडे भवित्ता अगाराओ अणगारियं पव्वइए।
सम्भव अर्हन् उनसठ लाख पूर्व वर्ष अगार के मध्य यानि गृहस्थावस्था में रहे। तदुपरान्त वे मुंडित हुए और अगार त्याग कर अनगारिता में प्रव्रजित हुए।
