The Forty Fourth Samvaya
२५८ - चोयालीसं अज्झयणा इसिभासिया दियलोगचुया भासिया पण्णत्ता
चवालीस ऋषिभाषित अध्ययन कहे गए हैं जिन्हें देवलोक से च्युत हुए ऋषियों ने कहा है।
समवायांग सूत्र
There are forty four Rishibhashit chapters. These have been narrated by the Rishis (monks) who had descended from the heaven (devloka).
२५९-विमलस्स णं अरहओ णं चउआलीसं पुरिसजुगाई अणुपिट्ठि सिद्धाई जाव सव्वदुक्खप्पहीणाइं ।
विमल अर्हत् के पश्चात् चवालीस पुरुषयुग (पीढ़ी) के विषय में कहा गया है कि वे अनुक्रम से एक के पीछे एक सिद्ध-बुद्ध, कर्मों से मुक्त, परिनिर्वाण को प्राप्त एवं सर्व दुःखों से रहित हो गए ।

After the period of Arihant Vimal about forty four ancestors epoch (generations) have been discussed. They will attain omniscience gradually one after the other. After that they getting liberation from all their accumulated karmas will get Parinirvana. They will be relieved of all their miseries and sufferings in the end.
२६० - धरणस्स णं नागिंदस्स नागरण्णो चोयालीसं भवणावाससयसहस्सा पण्णत्ता । नागेन्द्र नागराज धरण के चवालीस लाख भवनावास कहे गए हैं।
Forty four lacs residences have been said of the head serpent god Nagraj. २६१ - महालियाए णं विमाणपविभत्तीए चउत्थे वग्गे चोयालीसं उद्देसणकाला पण्णत्ता। महालिका विमान प्रविभक्ति के चतुर्थ वर्ग में चवालीस उद्देशन काल कहे गए हैं।
In the fourth volume of Mahalika Viman Pravibhakti forty four Udeshan kaal (chapters) have been narrated.
