११५ - महासुक्के कप्पे देवाणं अत्थेगइयाणं सोलस सागरोवमाइं ठिई पण्णत्ता । जे देवा आवत्तं विआवत्तं नंदिआवत्तं महाणंदिआवत्तं अंकुसं अंकुसपलंबं भद्दं सुभद्दं महाभद्दं सव्वओभद्दं भद्दुत्तरवडिंसगं विमाणं देवत्ताए उववण्णा तेसि णं देवाणं उक्कोसेणं सोलस सागरोवमाई ठिई नीससंति पण्णत्ता । ते णं देवा सोलसण्हं अद्धमासाणं आणमंति वा पाणमंति वा, उस्ससंति वा, वा । तेसि णं देवाणं सोलसवाससहस्सेहिं आहारट्ठे समुपज्जइ ।
संतेगइया भवसिद्धिआ जीवा जे सोलसहिं भवग्गहणेहिं सिज्झिस्संति बुज्झिस्संति * मुच्चिस्संति परिनिव्वाइस्संति सव्वदुक्खाणमंतं करिस्सति ।
महाशुक्र कल्प के कितने ही देव सोलह सागरोपम स्थिति वाले कहे गए हैं। वे देव विशिष्ट विमानों में देव रूप से उत्पन्न होते हैं। इन विशिष्ट विमानों की संख्या ग्यारह है । यथा – १. आवर्त विमान, २. व्यावर्त विमान, ३. नन्द्यावर्त विमान, ४. महानन्द्यावर्त विमान, ५. अंकुश विमान, ६. अंकुश प्रलम्ब विमान, ७ भद्र विमान, ८. सुभद्र विमान, ९. महाभद्र विमान, १०. सर्वतोभद्र विमान, ११. * भद्रोत्तरावतंसक विमान । वे देव सोलह सागरोपम उत्कृष्ट स्थिति के होते हैं । वे देव सोलह अर्धमासों (आठ मासों) के अन्तराल से उच्छ्वास व निःश्वास तथा आन व प्राण की क्रिया करते हैं। वे देव सोलह हजार वर्षों के उपरान्त आहार की इच्छा करते हैं।
वे कितनेक भव्य सिद्धिक जीव हैं जो सोलह भव (सोलह बार जन्म) ग्रहण करेंगे। उसके बाद जीव सिद्ध-बुद्ध होंगे। वे जीव कर्मों से मुक्ति पाकर परमनिर्वाण को प्राप्त होंगे। वे जीव अन्ततोगत्वा समस्त दुःखों का शमन (अन्त) करेंगे।

The celestial beings of the Mahashukra kalpa have been said of the life span of sixteen Palyopama duration. These celestial beings reincarnate into the special celestial vehicles of cosmos, the number of these special celestials vehicles are eleven as :- 1. Avrat Viman, 2. Vayavrat Viman, 3. Nandyavrat Viman, 4. Mahanandyavrat Viman, 5. AnkusViman, 6. Ankus Pralamb Viman, 7. Bhadra Viman, 8.Subhadra Viman, 9. Mahabhadra Viman, 10. Sarvatobhadra Viman, 11. Bhadroantaravatansak Viman. In these above mentioned celestial vehicles celestial beings have the maximum life duration of sixteen Sagropama. They do the activity of inhaling and exhaling or breathing in and breathing out after the interval of sixteen fortnight means after completion of eight months. They desire for food after the completion of sixteen thousand years.
Many of them capable of the salvation will take sixteen births in future and after that they will attain salvation. After having annihilated all their accumulated previous karmas they will attain liberation. Eventually these beings will destroy all their miseries and sufferings.
