NOTES 336) दुक्खुवहणाइ पेम्माई This should be taken as an independent -sentence. Let not any one form any attachement (for any body), (for) love is hard to bear or sustain to a happy end. Or fe may be taken to mean द्रुतचलनशील ( briskly moving ), चटु or चाटु meaning brisk or agile, cf. चटल. खरपवणेण चाडचालिरो जो दवग्गी, तस्स सरिसेण पेम्मेण | Cf. st. 444. 343) दड्ढह्यलोए = दड्ढह्य involves tautology. समप्पिवि – This is an Apabhramsa form of the gerund of the root.
