CENSURE OF POTS INVOLVING VARIOUS FAULTS
250. If some householder tells to an ascetic exploring for pots-"Long lived Shraman! Please go now and come after a month, ten or five days, tomorrow or the day after .” the rest of the details should be read as in Vastraishana chapter (aphorism 218).
२५१. से णं परो णेया वएज्जा - आउसो भइणी ! आहरेयं पायं, तेल्लेण वा घण वा णवणीएण वा वसाए वा अब्भंगेत्ता वा तहेव सिणाणादि तहेव सीतोदगादि कंदादि तहेव ।
२५१. कोई गृहस्वामी पात्रैषणा करने वाले साधु को देखकर अपने परिवार के किसी पुरुष या स्त्री को बुलाकर कहे - " आयुष्मन् या बहन ! वह पात्र लाओ, हम उस पर तेल, घी, नवनीत या वसा चुपड़कर साधु को देंगे • इसी प्रकार स्नानीय पदार्थ आदि से एक बार-बार घिसकर कंदादि उसमें से निकालकर साफ करके इत्यादि सारा वर्णन वस्त्रैषणा अध्ययन ( सूत्र २१८-२२४) के अनुसार समझ लेना चाहिए।

विशेष - 'वस्त्र' के बदले यहाँ 'पात्र' शब्द कहना चाहिए ।
251. On seeing an ascetic searching for pots if a householder tells to some member of the family (sister etc.)-"Long lived brother or sister ! Please fetch that pot, I will apply oil, butteroil, butter or fat on it and give it to the ascetic.-I will wash it with uncontaminated cold or hot water once-I will take out the bulbous roots........ the rest of the details should be read as in Vastraishana chapter (aphorism 218-224) .
The only change being pot for clothes.
२५२. से णं परो या बएज्जा आउसंतो समणा ! मुहुत्तगं २ जाव अच्छाहि अम्हे असणं वा ४ उवकरेंसु व उवक्खडेंसु वा, तो ते वयं आउसो ! सपाणं सभोयणं पडिग्गहगं दासामो, तुच्छए पडिग्गहए दिण्णे समणस्स णो सुट्टु णो साहु भवति । से पुव्वामेव अलोएज्जा आउसो ! ति वा, भइणी ! ति वा, णो खलु मे कप्पइ आहाकम्मिए असणे वा ४ भोत्तए वा पाय वा, मा उवकरेहि, मा उवक्खडेहि अभिकंखसि मे दाउ एमेव दलयाहि ।
