means I will endure; in face of afflictions-I will neither curse the cause nor have tormenting thoughts. I will tolerate them fully with equanimity. Khamissami means—I will have a feeling of forgiveness for whoever causes me afflictions and have no aversion or animosity. ३८२. तओ णं समणे भगवं महावीरे इमं एयारूवं अभिग्गहं अभिगिन्हित्ता वोसट्टकाए चत्तदेहे दिवसे मुहुत्तसेसे कुम्मारगामं समणुपत्ते ।
तओ णं समणे भगवं महावीरे वोसट्टकाए चत्तदेहे अणुत्तरेणं आलएणं अणुत्तरेणं विहारेणं, एवं संजमेणं पग्गहेणं संवरेणं तवेणं बंभचेरवासेणं खंतीए मुत्तीए तुट्ठीए समितीए गुत्तीए ठाणेणं कम्मेणं सुचरियफलणिव्वाणमुत्तिमग्गेणं अप्पाणं भावेमाणे विहरइ |
३८२. अभिग्रह धारण करने के पश्चात् काया का व्युत्सर्ग एवं काया के प्रति ममत्व का त्याग किये हुए श्रमण भगवान महावीर दिन का एक मुहूर्त्त शेष रहते कर्मार (कुमार) ग्राम पहुँच गये।
उसके पश्चात् श्रमण भगवान महावीर अनुत्तर ( सर्वश्रेष्ठ ) वसति के सेवन से, अनुपम विहार से एवं अनुत्तर संयम, उपकरण, संवर, तप, ब्रह्मचर्य, क्षमा, निर्लोभता, संतुष्टि (प्रसन्नता), समिति, गुप्ति, कायोत्सर्गादि तथा अनुपम क्रियानुष्ठान से एवं सुचरित के फलस्वरूप निर्वाण और मुक्तिमार्ग - ज्ञान - दर्शन - चारित्र - के सेवन से युक्त होकर आत्मा को भावित करते हुए विहार करने लगे ।
