३८६. जं णं दिवसं समणस्स भगवओ महावीरस्स णेव्वाणे कसिणे जाव समुप्पन्ने तं णं दिवसं भवणवइ-वाणमंतर-जोइसिय-विमाणवासिदेवेहिं य देवीहिं य ओवयंतेहिं य जाव उप्पिंजलगभूए यावि होत्था।
३८६. जिस दिन श्रमण भगवान महावीर को अज्ञान-दुःख-निवृत्तिदायक सम्पूर्ण यावत् अनुत्तर केवलज्ञान-केवलदर्शन उत्पन्न हुआ, उस दिन भवनपति, वाणव्यन्तर, ज्योतिष्क एवं विमानवासी देव और देवियों के आने-जाने से एक महान् दिव्य देवोद्योत हुआ, देवों का मेला-सा लग गया, देवों का कलकल नाद होने लगा, वहाँ का सारा आकाश-मण्डल हलचल से व्याप्त हो गया। KAIVALYA CELEBRATIONS

The day Shraman Bhagavan Mahavir was endowed with the total, supreme (etc.) Keval-jnana and Keval-darshan that completely liberates one from ignorance and miseries, numerous Bhavanpati, Vanavyantar, Jyotishi and Vaimanik gods and goddesses descended from heavens. The collective radiance of their upward and downward movement filled the skies with a divine glow. There was a festival-like commotion and skies were filled with their laughter and activity.
३८७. तओ णं समणे भगवं महावीरे उप्पन्नणाण-दसणधरे अप्पाणं च लोगं च अभिसमिक्ख पुव्वं देवाणं धम्ममाइक्खइ तओ पच्छा माणुसाणं।
३८७. तदनन्तर अनुत्तर ज्ञान-दर्शन के धारक श्रमण भगवान महावीर ने केवलज्ञान द्वारा अपनी आत्मा और लोक को सम्यक् प्रकार से जानकर पहले देवों को, तत्पश्चात् मनुष्यों को धर्मोपदेश दिया।
