RIDING THE PALANQUIN
367. A palanquin, decorated with divine flowers growing in. water and on earth and created by gods endowed with power of transformation, was brought for Jineshvar Mahavir who was free of dotage and death. (7) ३६८. सिबियाए मज्झयारे दिव्वं वररयणरूवचेचइयं।
सीहासणं महरिहं सपादपीठं जिणवरस्स॥८॥ ३६८. उस शिविका के मध्य में दिव्य तथा जिनवर के लिए श्रेष्ठ रत्नों की रूपराशि से (सुसज्जित) तथा पादपीठ से युक्त महामूल्यवान सिंहासन निर्मित था॥८॥
368. In the middle of that palanquin, meant for the Jina, rested a divine throne and foot-rest, resplendent with the beauty and radiance of the finest quality of gems (embellishing it). (8) ३६९. आलइयमालमउडो भासुरबोंदी वराभरणधारी।
खोमयवत्थणियत्थो जस्स य मोल्लं सयसहस्सं॥९॥ ३६९. उस समय भगवान महावीर श्रेष्ठ आभूषण धारण किये हुए थे। यथास्थान दिव्य माला और मुकुट धारण किये हुए थे। एक लाख रुपया मूल्य वाले दिव्य क्षौम (कपास से निर्मित) वस्त्र पहने हुए थे, इन सबसे भगवान का शरीर देदीप्यमान हो रहा था॥९॥ ___369. At that time Bhagavan Mahavir was wearing splendid ornaments. The crown and the divine garland rested at appropriate places. He was wearing a divine cotton dress worth a hundred thousand gold coins. All these gave a scintillating appearance to the body of Bhagavan. (9) ३७०. छटेणं भत्तेणं अज्झवसाणेण संदरेण जिणो।
लेस्साहि विसुझंतो आरुहई उत्तमं सीयं ।।१०॥ ३७०. उस समय प्रशस्त अध्यवसाय एवं शुभ लेश्याओं से विशुद्ध षष्ठ भक्त प्रत्याख्यान (बेले की) तपश्चर्या से युक्त भगवान उत्तम शिविका में विराजमान हुए॥१०॥
