ARRIVAL OF GODS FOR RENUNCIATION CELEBRATIONS
365. After that, knowing about Shraman Bhagavan Mahavir's intention of renunciation, the gods and goddesses of four divine dimensions, namely Bhavanpati, Vanavyantar, Jyotishka and Vaimanik, ride their respective vehicles in their true forms adorned with their specific dresses and symbols and with all their powers, radiance and retinue. Aboard their celestial vehicles they discard their gross particles and collect subtle particles from all around and rise high in the skies. Attaining a certain height they descend with their highest, fast, sharp and quick divine speed and gradually crossing innumerable continents and seas in the transverse inhabited space arrive at the continent called Jambudveep. There they come near the north Kshatriyakunda district and quickly land in the north-eastern direction of the district.
३६६. तओ णं सक्के देविंदे देवराया सणियं २ जाणविमाणं ठवेइ । सणियं २ (जाण) विमाणं ठवेत्ता सणियं २ जाणविमाणाओ पच्चोरुहइ, सणियं २ जाणविमाणाओ पच्चोरुहित्ता एगंतमवक्कमइ । एगंतमवक्कमित्ता महया वेउब्विएणं समुग्धाएणं समोहणइ। महया वेउव्विएणं समुग्घाएणं समोहणित्ता एगं महं नाणामणि - कणगरयणभत्तिचित्तं सुभं चारुकंतरूवं देवच्छंदयं विउव्वंति।
तस्स णं देवच्छंदयस्स बहुमज्झदेसभागे एगं महं सपादपीठं सीहासणं णाणामणि-कणग रयणभत्तिचित्तं सुभं चारुकंतरूवं विउव्वइ, २ (त्ता) जेणेव समणे भगवं महावीरे तेणेव उवागच्छइ, २ (त्ता) समणं भगवं महीवारं तिखुत्तो आयाहिणपयाहिणं करेइ। समणं भगवं महावीरं तिखुत्तो आयाहिणपयाहिणं करेत्ता, समणं भगवं महावीरं वंदइ, णमंसइ । वंदित्ता णमंसित्ता समणं भगवं महावीरं गहाय, जेणेव देवच्छंदए तेणेव उवागच्छइ । तेणेव उवागच्छित्ता सणियं २ पुरत्याभिमुहं सीहासणे णिसीयावेइ ।
