સને ૧૮૯૩ માં કલકત્તાની હાઈ કોર્ટે આપણી ધર્મની લાગણીને માન આપીને ચરખીનું કારખાનું અધ રાખવાને જાણુકનો મનાઈ હુકમ આપી, આપણા ખર્ચ પણ અંગ્રેજ ગ્રહસ્થ પાસેથી અપાવ્યેા હતેા. આવી રીતની સ્થિતિ છતાં પણ સત્તાવાળાએ તરથી આપણને વખતેાવખત હેરાન કરવામાં આવે છે અને નવી નવી મુશ્કેલીઓ ઉભી કરી આપણી વ્યાપારી અને શાંત, નિર ંતર સુલેહશાંતિને ચાહનારી જૈન પ્રજામાં ખળભળાટની લાગણી ઉત્પન્ન કરવામાં આવે તેવા પ્રકારની રાજ્યનીતિ સર્વ કામ તરફ સમાન ભાવ રાખનાર મહાત્ બ્રિટિશ રાજ્યના અદલ ઈનસાને છાજતી ગણી શકાય નહિ તેાપણ આપણે ઇચ્છીશુ કે મે. ડેપ્યુટી કમીશનર તરફથી સતાષકારક જવાબ નહિ મળ્યા છતાં પણ જે બે મહીનાની મુદત મળી છે તેને લાભ લેવા આપણા અગ્રેસરે કોઇપણ રીતે પાછળ પડશે નિહુ. બેગાળના લેફ્ટેનન્ટ ગવર્નર તથા હિંદુસ્તાનના ગવર્નર જનરલને આ બાબતમાં યાગ્ય અરજ કરવા દેશના જુદા જુદા ભાગેાના આગેવાન જેનાનુ એક ડેપ્યુટેશન મેાકલાવવાની તથા હારા જેનેાની સહીવાળુ તેમજ દાખલા દલીલથી ભરપુર અકબર બાદશાહના પૂરમાના સાથે જોડીને એક મેમોરીયલ તૈયાર કરાવવાની જરૂર છે.

રાધનપુર સસ્થાનમાં હત્યાના પ્રતિખધ
Telegram Dt. 30th May addressed to His Highness Nawab Saheb of Radhanpoor from Gulabchand Dhadda, General Secretary, Jain Swetamber Conference.
"Please accept Swetamber Jains' sincerest obligations on Your Highness graciously prohibiting Cow-Killing and imparting free education. May this prove precursor to other Reforms and Your Highness live long to le loved and esteemel by all.*
Letter of Harilal Kikabliai Mehta' Esqr. Private Secretary to His Highness the Nawab Saheb Bahadur of Ranhanpur Dt. 1st June, 1907 to Golabchand Dhadha Esqr. General Secretary Jain Swetamber Conference Jaipur".
"Being directed by His Highness the Nawab Saheb Bahadur I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your telegram of the 30th ultimo addressed to His Highness and thank you very much for your warm expre sions of obligations and best wishes to His Highness in connection with the orders issued by His Highness prohibiting Cow-Killing and granting free education in this State.
