॥ ॐ नमः सिद्धेभ्यः ॥
यः संसारनिरासला समीतमु क्न्यर्थमुत्तिष्टत, यं, तार्थं कथयति पावनतया येनाऽस्ति नान्यः समः ।। यस्मै तीर्थपतिर्नमस्यति सतां यस्माच्छुभं जायते, स्फूर्तिर्यस्य परावसंति च गुणा यस्मिन्स संघोऽर्च्यतां ॥ અર્થ:-૪ સધ, સંસારના ત્યાગને વિષે ઇચ્છાવાળી છે. બુધ્ધિ જેની, ઍવા છતાં મુક્તિનો સાધનને માટે સાવધાન થાય છે, વળી જે પવિત્રપણાએ કરીને તીર્થરૂપ કહેવાય છે, જેના સમાન બીજો કાઇ નથી, જેને તીર્થંકર મહારાજા પણ વ્યાખ્યાનને અવસરે “ નમા તિથ્રુસ ” કહી નમસ્કાર કરે છે, જેનાથી સનાનું કલ્યાણ થાય છે, જેને ઉત્કૃષ્ટ મહિમા છે, અને જેનામાં ( અનેક ) ગુણા રહે છે, એવા સંધની, ( હે ભવ્ય વા ) પૂજા કરે.

The First Annual Report of the Jain Graduates' Association.

The Jain Swetamber Graduates' Association was founded on the 29th November 1904 when the sessions of the third Jain Conference were held at Baroda. The Association was formed under the Presidentship of Mr. Gulabchandji Dhadha M. A., one of the General Secretaries & the founder of that august assemblage.
One of the objects of creating this new body was the securing of contributions to the new Conference Magazinc resolved to be conducted under the editorship of our worthy President, Mr. Dhadha. Subsequently the magazine has been issued under the name of the "Herald." A circular letter was addressed to all the graduates by me inviting their contributions. In response to the above letter & also in response to several letters addressed by our President, members of our Association have contributed to the magazine. It is a sort of partial satisfaction to note that the contributions of our members comprise nearly 106 pages of the Herald. The articles
