Prakrit Verses in Sanskrit Works on Poetics
1228)
Lolaasuraarukarana (?)......
(p. 1041)
The verse, which is in Skandhaka metre, is already cited earlier on p. 1009-there it . opens- with the words to ia piānuvattana'- and is again cited later on at p. 1209. For its text vide S. No. (1082) supra.
1229) Jo kahavi sahihi muham (?)......
-GS II. 44
Note: This gātha is cited further on (p. 1175) to illustrate a type of upanāyaka.
1230) Tose kubhamta tamcchia (?)......
(p. 1041)
This very verse, which is in Skandhaka metre, is cited, on two more occasions, by Bhoja to illustrate (i) pulnarbhāva (a variety of manopasanti) at p. 1041 and (ii) Priyotthāpana at p. 1209. The text of the verse may be restored as follows:
-Harivijaye
As there is a clear reference to Hari falling at the feet of his beloved (Satyabhāmā), of course for appeasing her anger we infer that this verse is drawn from Hari-vijaya.
1231)
Daialoapaatta.....
This verse, which is in Skandhaka metre, is most probably drawn from Harivijaya (now lost).
