24. The illustration of Karaka-visaya Vyapakatva (SP. p. 309). The printed text is as follows :
सीसे हरुणखणपिणिम्म पिदुखणु कंठे पालंबुकिदुरइ ।
एरइंदुखणुमंडमालिअजंपणएण तं णमह कुसुमदामको अंडुकामहो । The same passage occurs also under Siddhahema, 8-4-446. The text correctly preserved there is as follows:
सीसि सेहरु खणु विणिम्मविदु खणु कंठि पालंबु किदु . रदिए विहिदु खणु मुंडमालिए ।
जं पणएण तं णमहु कुसुम-दाम-कोदंडु कामहो ॥ The SP. passage seems to have सीसे, कंठे, रइदु (for विहिदु), मुंडमालिअ and कोअंडु as variants, which are superior.
The Sanskrit chay, accordingly is as follows:
शीर्षे शेखरः क्षणम् विनिर्मितम् क्षणम् कण्ठे प्रालम्बः कृतम् रत्या रचितम् क्षणम् मुण्डमालिका । यत् प्रणयेन तत् नमत कुसुमदामकोदण्डम् कामस्य ॥
The metre is to be identified as Mātrā of the Mattabālikā variety with 15, 12, 15, 12, 15 Mātrās for the five successive Pādas (see Svayambhucchandas, 4.9 and 9(3), Chandonusāsana, 5.18 and.18(3); Samdesarāsaka, Introduction, p. 66-68). . 25. The illustration of Tadbhavapatti (SP. p. 312).
The printed text is as follows :
चंद्रहवपि वावाहिकपि सरिपल्लति तल्लितलाइ। चदहकंचकोडिआकेण हआ सेमाइ ॥
This may be restored as follows:
जं(?) द्रहि वाविहि कवि सरि पल्ललि तल्लि तलाइ । चंदह कय चक्कोडिआ केण हआसे माइ॥
The Sanskrit chāyā :

यत् (?) हदे वाप्याम् कूपे सरसि पल्वले तटाकिकायाम् तटाके । चन्द्रस्य कृताः करीषाग्नयः केन हताशेन मातर् ॥
