The Ratnadarpana commentary reads विरहिणीजणणदयंतेणणावइ तक्खणि for the first line
above.
The text may be restored as foltows:
विरहिणि-जगह दअंतेण णावइ तक्खणि छाइज्जइ अलि विहेहिं चेत्तेण चूअवणि । अह तासु विमअदह (तह ) संदाणिअइ जह ण कलंबु ण अंबु ण जंबू जाणिअइ ॥
The Sanskrit chāyā :
विरहिणी - जनस्य दयमानेन ननु तत्क्षणम् छाद्यते अलि-निवहैः चैत्रेण चूतवनी । अथ तासु अपि मकरन्दैः तथा संदान्यते
यथा न कदम्बः न आम्रः न जम्बूः ज्ञायते ॥
The alternative reading would give विरहिणीहृदय - कृतान्तैः for the initial portion of the first
line.
In the restored text the metrical srructure is violated in the end portion of the first line. ar in the third line also presents difficulties, taken either as feminine plural or as, after Ratneśvara, feminine singular (in which case it should be ताहे or तहे ).
The metre is to be identified as Rāsāvalaya (also called Rāsaka).
