A single vice out of the eighteen mentioned above bars the right to 'Saddevatva', the state of being true God. Now we shall come to 'Saddharmatattva.' SADDHARMATATTVA Right Religion. From the eternal times interwoven into the webs of Karma, the embodied soul has been moving and roving in innumerable births, suffering griefs and sorrows and pain. Not a moment he finds real happiness.; even in so called happiness from the materialistic point of view he is not at rest, always growing under discontent, despair and world-weariness. It shows that he does not find real happiness. He is going down and down far away from 'Reality':-not knowing his real nature. It is Saddharma, Pure Religion which sustains and keeps him from falling and going down and raises him up to a higher life [Sarvadna Bhagvan], Omniscient Lord has defined religion according to the various stand-points of view, various forms, the principal among them being (1) , Vyavahara Dharma, or Prescribed Religion, i. e. religion prescribing rules and modes of how to live a life so as to realize the Nishchaya Dharma, the real nature of things, the very essence of Soul free from the body; and (2) f, Nishchaya Dharma, i. e. the very nature of things, the very nature of Soul discarding its embodiments. into First to Vyavahara Dhrama, Daya or Universal charity (in its original sense of love, kindness, brotherliness) to all sentient beings forms its basis. The four great Vratas, vows or rules of abstinence from (1) falsehood, (2) theft, (3) inchastity and (4) greed and avarice are meant for the protection of this universal charity, or brotherliness to the animate kingdom. Daya too is subdivided eight fold:-(1) Dravya Daya, or objective and concrete charity, (2) Bhava Daya, or subjective and abstract
