Yashovijaya and Vinayvijaya took leave of his Guru and departed from Benares, with these words to his Guru, that they being ascetics had nothing to pay to him, but they would do their best in executing what their Guru might bid them do.
Yeshovijaya followed by 500 flag-bearers then started for Gujarat to meet his Guru Nayavijayaji and haltedat Cambay or such other place. Anandghanji, who was very well known to Yashovijayaji as vanavasi and adhyatma-gnani, heard about Yashovijayaji's fame, as the greatest Pandit, and saw him there. He showed his desire to hear Yashovijayaji's sermon. Yashovijayaji_composed ज्योति: पंचविशातिं: —25 verses in honour of the light of soul-and proceeded with his sermon thereon. Anandghanji was very much pleased with the erudition of the sermon, but he was very sorry at the show of all those flags. Then the following dialogue ensued:
Anand-Well, You know our Lord Mahavir was actAbsolute Knower. How much knowledge had he?
Yasho-He had infinite knowledge.
Anand-How much knowledge had the gana-dharas?
Yasho-They had infinite knowledge, but an infinite part of what Shree Mahavir possessed.
Anand-Well then, How, much knowledge had the 14 purva-dharas and one purva-dhara?
Yasho-Of course they had boundless knowledge but an infinite part of what the Ganadharas had. in the same way in the case of a purva-dhara.
