All agricultural labour with the exception of ploughing is done by the females. Both sexes of every age are passionately fond of flowers &. wear garlands of flowers suspended from their caps round their necks. Datnagar is 12 miles from Katgarh and is a large village on the Sutlaj elevation 3,200 feet. Rampoor is 8 miles from Datnagar elevation 3,398 feet. Rampoor is the capital of the Busher State and rests upon the left bank of the Sutlaj at the distance of a stone cast. Rampoor is a big commercial town and has a large bazar and splendid Rajas, palaces. An iron bridge is newly made on the Sutlaj. There are three Hindu Temples of Seeta Ram, Nursing and Salig Ram and one Budhist temple. Gaui a is 8 miles from Rampoor, Sarahan is 10 miles from Gaura elevation 7,248 feet, The path is upon an enormous slope of decomposing Mica Slate, Sarahan is the summer residence of the Raja of Busher and is pleasently situated on a wooded ridge from the Himalaya which sweeps down into Sutlaj three miles distant. There is a temple of Kalee where human sacrifices were offered in former times, but have been discontinued since the British came to the mountains. At the distance of three miles there are Agan Kunds or hot springs near the bed of the Sutlaj. They are nearly 4,000 feet below. They issue from the side of a dell through which an impetuous steam rolls, about half a mile from the Sutlaj. This torrent forms a fine cascade bounding over a narrow rent in a mass of Gneiss and falling about 40 feet. The springs are five in nuniber and are all within the length of fifteen paces. The principal one gushes from beneth a projecting rock close to the water fall and runs into a small artificial well of Mica slate which has been made for pilgrims to bath in. The water is clear,
