| તા. ૧૧-૫-૧૮૧૧ ના રોજે રે. . મકનજીભાઈ જુઠાભાઈ મહેતા બી. એ. એલ એલ. બી. શ્રી જૈન વેતાંબર કેન્ફરન્સના આસિસ્ટંટ જનરલ સેક્રેટરી તથા જન એજ્યુએટસ એસોશીયેશનના સેક્રેટરી રે રા. મોહનલાલ દલીચદ દેશાઈ બી. એ. એલ. એલ. બી. ઇટાલીયન કન્સલને લાઈબ્રેરીઓ જેવા તેડવા ગયા. તેમની મુલાકાત લીધી. પકેસર સુ આલી ને ઈડિઆમાં મોકલવા સંબંધી તથા લાઇબ્રેરી તપાસવા વાતચીત કરી પણ તેઓને બીજે દીવસે એટલે તા. ૧૨-૫-૧૧ ના રોજ મેઈલથી રવાના થવા સબબ કામ ઘણું હોઈ વખત નહીં મળવાથી આવવા ના પાડી હતી. બાદ શ્રી જન ‘વેતાબર કોન્ફરન્સ ઓફીસથી બહાર પડેલ શ્રી જન ગ્રંથાવલીની બુક તથા છે. રા. ઉમેદચંદ દોલતચંદ બરોડીયાનું બનાવેલ હિસ્ટરી એન્ડ લીટરેચર એફ જેનીઝમની બુક બને ભેટ આપવામાં આવ્યા બાદ રજા લઈ સૈ સૌને મુકામે ગયા.
પરચુરણ કામકાજ. પુનાથી ચાંદીની ખુરસી શેઠ ભીખુભાઈ મુલચંદ તથા શેઠ મોતીચંદ ભગવાન હથે હતી તે અત્રે આવી ગઈ છે,
નામદાર-પાંચમાં . રાજયાભિષેકની ક્રિયા ઊપર ડીસેમ્બર માસમાં હિંદુસ્તાનમાં આવતા તેમને માનપત્ર આપવા માટે ઓફિસ તરફથી ગવર્નમેંટના સેક્રેટરીને નીચે મુજબ અરજ કરવામાં આવેલ છે. તે નિચે મુજબ.
