(१) देहेन भाव्य दीपेन श्रेयोमार्गप्रकाशिना । न तु दौर्गत्यनिर्मातृतमोवृद्धिविधायिना ||

* આપણા દેહ કલ્યાણમાના પ્રકાશ વેરે એવા દીવા બનવા જોઇએ, નહિ કે દુગતિના દુઃખા સજે એવા તમસૂને વધારનારા ૧

Our body should be a lamp spreading the light illuminating the path to welfare, but should not be a means for increasing the terrible darkness (in the form of ignorance, infatuation and misconduct ) creating a distressful grade. 1
