If it is believed that all the souls are the separate parts of Brahma, then Brahma would always remain impure, since the number of impure souls always remains infinitely more than that of the pure ones in Samsara,

So the souls have their distinguished individuality and each one of all the (embodied) souls, has a distinct and diverse condition of life according to its distinct and diverse Karmas.
So it is rightly established that all the souls are separate.
Says this the great sage Kanada too in the Sutra व्यवस्थातो नाना". 17-18
