कल्याणभारती
(૨૨-૨૩) म्लानो दीपककाचश्चेन्नान्तर्योतिः प्रकाशते । स्वच्छो दीपककाचश्चेदन्तर्योतिः प्रकाशते ।। तथा मलीमसे चित्ते नान्तर्देवविचारणम् । विशुद्धिमति चित्ते च स्यादन्तर्देवदर्शनम् ॥
જ ફાનસની અન્દર પવછ પ્રકાશ છે, પણ ઉપરનો કાચ સ્વચ્છ ન હોય તે અન્દરની પેત દેખાતી નથી. ઉપરને કાચ સ્વચ્છ હોય તે અન્દરની ત દેખાવાની. એ પ્રમાણે ચિત્ત મલિન હોય તે અન્દરના દેવને ખ્યાલ સુદ્ધાં આવતું નથી, પણ ચિત્ત વિશુદ્ધ બને છે ત્યારે અન્દરના દેવનાં દર્શન થાય છે. ૨૨-૨૩
• As an outer glass being dirty, the light inside a lantern does not shine, but the glass being cleansed the light shines. So, the mind being dark, even a conception of the inner deity does not rise, but the mind being purified in toto, the inner deity is perceptibly seen.
