Souls united with Karmas. go to a good or bad grade after death according to the good or bad Karmas incurred by them and get happiness or misery.

Those souls which are abounding in good Karmas, obtain happiness of the highest type; and those freed from all their Karmas, attain Moksha. Moksha is the soul's freedom from all the bondage of Karma. This freedom is the soul's absolute purity which has no least connection with any foreign matter. 19-20-21
