(१) अनादिश्चेतनस्यायं दुःखपूर्णो भवभ्रमः । रागद्वेषादि संक्लेश समा^ लेषसमुद्भवः ॥

* येतन (आत्मा)नु आहुः मयूर लवभ्रम मनाहिકાળથી ચાલી રહ્યું છે, જે તેના રાગદ્વેષ આદિ કલેશે ને આભારી છે. ૧

* This miserable wandering of the phenomenal soul in the transmigratory cycle is carried on from beginningless time. This wandering of it, is owing to its embracing passions-attachment, aversion and others. 1
