प्राप्नुयाद् विश्वसाम्राज्यं परन्तु यदि हारयेद्- । मनुष्यो निजमात्मानं तहि किञ्चित् स नाप्तवान् ॥

“મનુષ્ય દુનિયાભરનું સામ્રાજ્ય પ્રાપ્ત કરે, પણ જો પેાતાના આત્માને ગુમાવે તે ખરેખર તેણે કશું જ મેળવ્યું નથી. ૧૬
