* The celebrated author Udayana says in his Nyayakusumanjali, proving the existence of Karma-" forze nad 5,543 R affazralaat". I. e., an action destroyed long ago, would not be able to give its fruit without laying its impressions on its doer-the jiva. 11
( Every action, though frail, is fruitful, because it lays its impressions upon its doer-the jiva and the impressions make the jiva experience their fruit at the time of their maturity. Thus an action good or evil, though destroyed long ago, would give its fruit good or evil to its doer-the jiva through its impressions. Thus on the ground that actions are unfailing, the existence of Karma as well as rebirth is validly proved. ]
