निःस्पृहस्य सुवृत्तस्य स्वाध्यायरसिकस्य च । लोकादरेण किं कार्य श्रेयोविध्नात्मको हि सः ।।
જ નિસ્પૃહ, સદાચરણી અને સ્વાધ્યાયરસિક એવાને લકાદરનું શું કામ? કેમ કે કલ્યાણસાધનામાં એ બાધારૂપ થઈ પડે એવું બને છે. ૫
* Of what use is honour from the people to him who is indifferent to worldly attachment, wellconducred and devoted to sacred study ? On the contrary, it may probably be an obstacle to the practice of spiritual welfare. 5
