Tā suttuttaviuttā, gīyatthanivāriya aņāinnā / Cicca micchānivesasāhigā, so u micchassa || 10 ||
Tatsūtroktaviyukta,
gītārthaniväritā anācīrnā / Cestā mithyabhiniveśasādhika,
sa tu mithyātvasya || 10 ||
That action against scriptures,
denied by the learned and Proscribed by them can only promote
falsehood, what else? ||10 || 10. Having a dig at the pretentious aspirants who are engaged in false practices, the author says that such actions as are against the scriptural dictates, that are against the preachings of the learned preceptors and that are undoable can only promote falsehood. He says that those who do not comprehend the inherent meaning of the scriptures, who oppose and torment the canon-learned, who are unrighteous in their conduct and who are always engaged in the practice of activities that go against the teachings of the omniscient prophets, accomplish only falsehood even though they may have attained the right-faith.
