Sri SUMAN MUNIJI : A SAINT OF
GREAT WISDOM
Gurudev was born in 1936 and named as "Girdhaari". Probably, destiny had foretold his parents that he will be one of the greatest of Saints. Gurudev can be aptly called as the Apostle of Knowledge, Wisdom and Tranquility, a worthy personality rarely found. I have been extremely fortunate to listen to a few thought-provoking discourses of Gurudev. Gurudev's deep knowledge of religion and mankind is simply incomparable. Gurudev is truly one of the Greatest Pearl of Wisdom Gurudev's teachings in a crux are : "Human life is a sublime river, Virtue is it's divine bathing place, Sathya & Ahmisa are it's water, Moral convictions are it's banks, Courage & Forgiveness are it's waves, In such a Pure River, I bathe every moment of my life." Well, Gurudev's knowledge on life, wisdom & destiny, is a Mighty Ocean, where none like us can ever hope to swim. Gurudev has a dominant influence & impression, in the fortunes of our Jain Religion. Gurudev & his preachings will live in listner's minds, for as long as the listner is alive and will always be remembered

So are the words of Our Gurudev. Gurudev's knowledge is like a river, Tree, Cloud and always has been for the benefit of society. So says an old adage of our country : "Rivers do not drink their own water, trees do not eat their own fruit, clouds do not swallow their own rain, what great ones have is always for the Benefit of Society" It is an ever-lasting memory - thus spake Gurudev on PURUSHAARTH : "Virtue & fortune rests on your tongue-tip; friends & relatives rest on your fingure-tip; sufferings & imprisonment rest on your mind-tip; life & death itself rest on your, yes! on your own tongue-tip" The beauty of Gurudev's vision of life & death is a challenge to men, to adopt death
