The gloss on Canto XII. 2 (FIE: goratur etc.) right up to the verse sfa HAT sita etc. comprises these extracts derived from Bhavaprabodhini. In preparing the text of Gitagovinda and the commentary of Mananka to it "P" has been adopted as the basis and its defects and mistakes have been corrected with the help of the MSS A and B. for 'P' happens to be the oldest of the three "MSS used for this edition and is
