They did not panic like others and caught hold of a large wooden plank. र रत्न-द्वीप में प्रवेश 5 सूत्र १0 : जस्सिं च णं पदेसंसि पोयवहणे विवन्ने, तंसि च णं पदेसंसि एगे महं रयणद्दीवे 12 णामं दीवे होत्था। अणेगाइं जोअणाई आयामविक्खंभेणं, अणेगाइं जोअणाइं परिक्खेवेणं, ड 5 नानादुमसंड-मंडिउद्देसे सस्सिरीए पासाईए दंसणिज्जे अभिरूवे पडिरूवे।
तस्स णं बहुमज्झदेसभाए तत्थ णं महं एगे पासायवडेंसए होत्था-अब्भुग्गयमूसियपहसिए 15 जाव सस्सिरीभूयरूवे पासाईए दंसणिज्जे अभिरूवे पडिरूवे।
___ तत्थ णं पासायवडेंसए रयणद्दीवदेवया नाम देवया परिवसइ, पावा, चंडा, रुद्दा, खुद्दा, 15 साहसिया। 5 तस्स णं पासायवडेंसयस्स चउद्दिसिं चत्तारि वणसंडा किण्हा, किण्होभासा। र सूत्र १० : जिस क्षेत्र में वह पोतवहन-जहाज नष्ट हुआ था उस क्षेत्र में निकट ही रत्न-द्वीप ड र नाम का एक विशाल द्वीप था। उसकी लम्बाई-चौड़ाई तथा घेरा अनेक योजन विस्तृत था। अनेक 5 प्रकार के वृक्षों के वनों से भर-पूर वह द्वीप सुन्दर सुषमा वाला, आनन्द देने वाला, दर्शनीय और के विविध रूप वाला था। र उस द्वीप के मध्य में एक उत्तम भवन था। वह अत्यन्त ऊँचा और सुन्दर था।
उस भवन में रत्नद्वीप देवी नामकी एक देवी रहती थी। वह पापी, चंड, रौद्र, क्षुद्र व साहसी र प्रवृत्ति वाली थी। 15 उस भवन की चारों दिशाओं में चार उद्यान थे जो घने श्याम रंग तथा श्याम आभा वाले थे। ८ 5 COMING TO RATNADVEEP

It was grand and 5 beautiful. 2 In this building lived the evil goddess of Ratnadveep who was sinful, S R violent, vicious, mean, and bold. 5 On four sides of that mansion there were four lush green gardens.
