पंडवे एवं वयासी-'हं भो दारगा ! किं तुब्भे पउमनाभेणं सद्धिं जुज्झिहिह उदाहु पेच्छिहिह?' 5 तए णं पंच पंडवा कण्हं वासुदेवं एवं वयासी-'अम्हे णं सामी ! जुज्झामो, तुब्भे पेच्छह।' दा 5 तए णं पंच पंडवे सन्नद्ध जाव पहरणा रहे दुरुहंति, दुरुहित्ता जेणेव पउमनाभे राया तेणेव से र उवागच्छंति, उवागच्छित्ता एवं वयासी-'अम्हे वा पउमणाभे वा राय त्ति कट्ट पउमनाभेणं सद्धिं डा B संपलग्गा यावि होत्था।
सूत्र १७८ : जब कृष्ण वासुदेव ने राजा पद्मनाभ को आते देखा तो वे पाँचों पाण्डवों से बोले-ड 5 "अरे बालको ! तुम पद्मनाभ के साथ युद्ध करोगे या केवल युद्ध देखोगे ही?"
पाण्डवों ने उत्तर दिया-"स्वामी ! हम युद्ध करेंगे आप केवल देखिए।"
पाँचों पाण्डव अस्त्र-शस्त्र ले तैयार हो रथों पर सवार हुए और राजा पद्मनाभ के निकट पहुँचे। द मन में यह संकल्प करके कि “आज या तो हम हैं या राजा पद्मनाभ हैं'' वे युद्ध में कूद पड़े।। DEFEAT OF PANDAVS
