A AAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUU र उन्नीसवाँ अध्ययन : पुण्डरीक 5 eastern side of the Ekshail Vakshaskar mountain existed a Vijaya (a geographical area, like a state) named Pushkalavati.
The capital of Pushkalavati Vijaya was the city of Pundarikini. It was 5 twelve Yojans long and nine Yojan wide and looked as attractive, enchanting,
beautiful and pleasing as a heavenly town. There was a garden named Nalinivan to the north-east of the city. These details are mentioned in the

___ सूत्र ३ : तत्थ णं पुंडरीगिणीए रायहाणीय महापउमे णामं राया होत्था। तस्स णं पउमावई टा र देवी होत्था। तस्स णं महापउमस्स रण्णो पुत्ता पउमावईए देवीए अत्तया दुवे कुमारा होत्था, तंड B जहा-पुंडरीए य कंडरीए य सुकुमालपाणिपाया। पुंडरीए जुवराया। 5 सूत्र ३ : पुण्डरीकिणी नगरी में महापद्म नामक राजा राज्य करता था। उसकी पटरानी ड र पद्मावती देवी थी। महापद्म के पुत्र और पद्मावती के आत्मज दो कुमार थे-पुण्डरीक और 5 कण्डरीक। उनके शरीर कोमल यावत् सुन्दर सुरूप थे। उनमें से पुण्डरीक युवराज था। 5 DIKSHA OF KING MAHAPADMA

र सूत्र ४ : तेणं कालेणं तेणं समएणं थेरागमणं 5 महापउमे राया णिग्गए। धम्म सोच्चा पोंडरीयं रज्जे ठवेत्ता पव्वइए। पोंडरीए राया जाए। दा
र कंडरीए जुवराया। महापउमे अणगारे चोद्दसपुव्वाइं अहिज्जइ। तए णं थेरा बहिया । 15 जणवयविहारं विहरइ। तए णं से महापउमे बहूणि वासाणि जाव सिद्धे।
र सूत्र ४ : काल के उस भाग में स्थविर मुनियों का वहाँ आगमन हुआ। नलिनी वन उद्यान में 5 15 ठहरे। राजा महापद्म स्थविर मुनि को वन्दना करने निकले और धर्मोपदेश सुनकर उन्होंने अपने ट 15 पुत्र पुण्डरीक को राज्य पर स्थापित कर दीक्षा ग्रहण कर ली। अब पुण्डरीक राजा हो गया और ड
र कण्डरीक युवराज । महापद्म अनगार ने चौदह पूर्वो का अध्ययन किया। स्थविर मुनि वहाँ से निकल 15 जनपदों में विहार करने लगे। महापद्म ने बहुत वर्षों की साधना के बाद सिद्ध पद प्राप्त किया।
