ठवेइ, ठवित्ता धम्मियामो जाणण्पवराओ पच्चोरुहइ, पच्चोरुहित्ता जेणेव अम्मापियरो तेणेव ) उवागच्छइ, उवागच्छित्ता करयल जाव एवं वयासी
सूत्र १९ : पुरुषादानीय अर्हत् पार्श्वनाथ की यह बात सुन प्रसन्न व संतुष्ट हुई और उन्हें वन्दना करके अपने श्रेष्ठ यान पर सवार हो आम्रशालवन चैत्य से बाहर निकली। आमलकल्पा नगरी के बीच से होती हुई अपने घर के बाहर उपस्थानशाला में पहुँची और यान रुकवाकर नीचे ) उतरी। अपने माता-पिता के पास जा दोनों हाथ जोड़कर बोली
19. She was pleased and satisfied to hear this. She offered salutations to Arhat Parshvanath, boarded her chariot, and came out of the Amrashalvan. She crossed the city and reached the courtyard of her house. When the chariot stopped, she got down and went to her parents. After due greetings ) she said—
सूत्र २० : ' एवं खलु अम्मयाओ ! मए पासस्स अरहओ अंतिए धम्मे णिसंते, सेवियणं ) धम्मे इच्छिए, पडिच्छिए, अभिरुइए, तए णं अहं अम्मयाओ ! संसारभउब्बिग्गा, भीया जम्मण - मरणाणं इच्छामि णं तुब्भेहिं अब्भणुन्नाया समाणी पासस्स अरहओ अंतिए मुंडा भवित्ता अगाराओ अणगारियं पव्वइत्तए । '
'अहासुहं देवाणुप्पिया ! मा पडिबंधं करेह ।'
सूत्र २० : " हे माता-पिता ! मैंने अर्हत् पार्श्वनाथ का धर्मोपदेश सुना और बार-बार उस धर्म को स्वीकार करने की इच्छा मेरे मन में जागी है। वह धर्म मुझे रुचा है। अतः मैं संसार के भय से उद्विग्न हो गई हूँ और जन्म-मरण से भयभीत भी । मैं आपकी आज्ञा प्राप्त कर अर्हत् पार्श्वनाथ के निकट मुण्डित होकर, गृह त्यागकर अनगार बनना चाहती हूँ, दीक्षा लेना चाहती हूँ ।"
माता-पिता ने स्वीकृति प्रदान की- “देवानुप्रिये ! जिसमें तुम्हें सुख मिले, वह निर्विलम्ब करो | "
20. “Father and mother! I have listened to the discourse of Arhat Parshvanath, I like his religion and time and again I feel the urge to embrace that religious path. Thus, I have become disturbed by the sorrows of the Oworld and afraid of the cycles of rebirth. I seek your permission to remove my hair, renounce family life, and become an ascetic by getting initiated into his order. "
The parents gave their consent, "Beloved of gods! Do as you please ) without any delay.”
सूत्र २१ : तए णं से काले गाहावई विपुलं असणं पाणं खाइमं साइमं उवक्खडावे, उवक्खडावित्ता मित्त-णाइ-णियंग-सयण-संबंधि-परियणं आमंते, आमंतित्ता ततो पच्छा पहाए
