area. She was pleased and contented; she was filled with joy and overwhelmed with fondness. In her state of enchantment she got up from her throne, stepped down from the foot rest and took off her sandals. She took seven - eight steps in the direction of the Tirthankar, sat down with her left knee high and right knee touching the ground. She raised her head a little, brought together her arms that were heavy with bracelets and armlets, properly joined her palms and uttered
सूत्र ९ : णमोऽत्थु णं अरहंताणं भगवंताणं जाव संपत्ताणं, णमोऽत्थु णं समणस्स भगवओ महावीरस्स जाव संपाविउकामस्स, वंदामि णं भगवंतं तत्थ गयं इह गए, पासउ णं मे समणं भगवं महावीरे तत्थ गए इह गयं, ति कट्टु वंदइ, णमंसइ, वंदित्ता णमंसित्ता सीहासणवरंसि पुरत्थाभिमुहा निसण्णा ।
सूत्र ९ : " अरिहंतों को नमस्कार हो . ( शक्र - स्तव) । सिद्ध गति प्राप्त करने की कामना रखने वाले श्रमण भगवान महावीर को नमस्कार हो । वहाँ स्थित भगवान को मैं यहाँ से वन्दना करती हूँ। वहाँ रहे भगवान मुझे यहाँ देखें।" फिर उसने वन्दना - नमस्कार किया और पूर्व दिशा की ओर मुख करके अपने श्रेष्ठ सिंहासन पर बैठ गई ।
9. “I bow and convey my reverence to the worthy ones (Arhats), the supreme ones (Bhagavans), . . . . . . . . (the panegyric by the king of gods or the Shakrastav). My reverence also to Shraman Bhagavan Mahavir who is desirous of attaining the status of Siddh. From here I offer my salutations to Bhagavan who sits there; may he see me and accept my salutations from there." After the salutation and due obeisance she sat on her throne facing east.
सूत्र १० : तए णं तीसे कालीए देवीए इमेयारूवे जाव समुप्पज्जित्था - 'सेयं खलु मे समणं भगवं महावीरं वंदित्ता जाव पज्जुवासित्तए' त्ति कट्टु एवं संपेहेइ, संपेहित्ता आभिओ गए देवे सद्दावेइ, सद्दावित्ता एवं वयासी - ' एवं खलु देवाणुप्पिया ! समणे भगवं महावीरे एवं जहा सूरियाभो तहेव आणत्तियं देह, जाव दिव्वं सुरवराभिगमणजोग्गं ति करेह । करित्ता जाव पच्चप्पिणह ।' ते वि तहेव जाव करित्ता जाव पच्चष्पिणंति, णवरं जोयणसहस्सविच्छिन्नं जाणं, सेसं तव । णामगोयं साहेइ, तहेव नट्टविहिं उवदंसेइ, जाव पडिगया।
सूत्र १० : इस वन्दना के पश्चात् उसके मन में इच्छा हुई - " श्रमण भगवान महावीर को वन्दना करना और उनकी उपासना करना मेरे लिए श्रेयष्कर होगा ।" यह विचार उठते ही उसने आभियोगिक देवों को बुलाकर कहा - "देवानुप्रियो ! श्रमण भगवान महावीर राजगृह नगर के गुणशील चैत्य में विराजमान हैं। अतः दिव्य और श्रेष्ठ देवगमन योग्य विमान तैयार करके
