भUJURGUDDUजन र अठाहरवाँ अध्ययन : सुंसुमा
( ३२३ ) डा 15वा, नो रूवहेउं वा, नो बलहेउं वा, नो विसयहेउं वा आहारं आहारेइ, नन्नत्थ एगाए दी र सिद्धिगमणसंपावणट्टयाए, से णं इहभवे चेव बहूणं समणाणं, बहूणं समणीणं, बहूणं सावयाणं । र बहूणं सावियाणं अच्चणिज्जे जाव वीईवइस्सइ। र सूत्र ४३ : हे जम्बू ! धन्य सार्थवाह ने सुंसुमा के मृत शरीर के माँस व रुधिर का आहार वर्ण, S र रूप, बल अथवा विषय भोग के हेतु नहीं किया, मात्र विकट अटवी को पार कर राजगृह पहुँच । 5 पाने के लिए किया था। र ठीक उसी प्रकार हे आयुष्मान श्रमणो ! हमारे जो साधु-साध्वी वमन, पित्त, शुक्र, रक्त झरने का 5 वाले और त्यागने योग्य इस औदारिक शरीर के वर्ण, बल अथवा विषय के लिए आहार नहीं ? 15 करते अपितु सिद्धगति को प्राप्त करने हेतु आहार करते हैं वे इस भव में अनेक श्रमणों, श्रमणियों, डा र श्रावकों तथा श्राविकाओं के अर्चनीय होते हैं और संसार-सागर को पार करते हैं।
B CONCLUSION
43. Jambu! Dhanya merchant did not feed on the flesh and blood of a deceased Sumsuma for the purpose of enhancing or enjoying complexion,
form, strength or carnal pleasures of the body. He did that only to cross the 2 wilderness and reach Rajagriha.
___Long-lived Shramans! In just this way those of our ascetics who, after ट 5 getting initiated, do not indulge in activities like consuming rich food etc. in > order to enhance or enjoy the complexion, form, strength, or carnal pleasures
of this mortal physical body which oozes foul waste matter like vomit, bile,
semen, and blood and is worth abandoning, become the objects of reverence 5 of many ascetics and lay-persons. Moreover, they also cross this ocean of 5 cycles of rebirth. 2 सूत्र ४४ : एवं खलु जंबू ! समणेणं भगवया महावीरेणं अट्ठारसमस्स णायज्झयणस्स SI 5 अयमढे पण्णत्ते त्ति बेमि।
सूत्र ४४ : जम्बू ! श्रमण भगवान महावीर ने अठारहवें ज्ञात-अध्ययन का यह अर्थ कहा है। र जैसा मैंने सुना वैसा तुम्हें कहा है। र 44. Jambu! This is the text and the meaning of the eighteenth chapter of SI 2 the Jnata Sutra as told by Shraman Bhagavan Mahavir. So I have heard, so I SI confirm.
