__ सूत्र १२ : तए णं से विजए तक्करे चोरसेणावई बहूणं चोराण य पारदारियाण य ८ 12 गंठिभेयगाण य संधिच्छेयगाण य खत्तखणगाण य रायावगारीण य अणधारगाण य र बालघायगाण य वीसंभगायगाण य जूयकराण य खंडरक्खाण य अन्नेसिं च बहूणं छिन्न-भिन्न दी र बाहिराहयाणं कुडंगे यावि होत्था। 15 सूत्र १२ : वह चोर सेनापति, विजय तस्कर, अन्य अनेक चोरों परस्त्रीगामियों, ग्रन्थि भेदकों दी 12 (धरोहर हड़पने वाले), संधिच्छदेकों (सेंध लगाने वालों), क्षात्रखनकों (दीवारें तोड़कर चोरी करने ।
र वालों), राजद्रोहियों, ऋण लेने वालों, बालहत्यारों, विश्वासघातियों, जुआरियों, अतिक्रमणकारियों ट 15 तथा अन्य विभिन्न प्रकार के राजदण्डित अपराधियों का उसी प्रकार आश्रयदाता था जैसे बाँस की डा 2 झाड़ी होती है।
12. Like a bamboo thicket he provided protection and refuge to all sorts of S branded and escaped criminals. These included thieves, womanizers,
bamboozlers (Granthibhedak), housebreakers (Sandhicchedak), wall- a 5 breakers (Kshatrakhanak), rebels, insolvents, infanticides, betrayers, 15 gamblers, transgressors, and other persons with criminal records.
सूत्र १३ : तए णं से विजए तक्करे चोरसेणावई रायगिहस्स नगरस्स दाहिणपुरच्छिमंट 5 जणवयं बहूहिं गामघाएहि य नगरघाएहि य गोग्गहणेहि य बंदिग्गहणेहि य पंथकोट्टणेहि य र खत्तखणणेहि य ओवीलेमाणे ओवीलेमाणे विद्धंसेमाणे-विद्धंसेमाणे णित्थाणं णिद्धणं करेमाणे टा 5 विहरइ। 5 सूत्र १३ : विजय तस्कर नामका वह चोर सेनापति राजगृह नगर के दक्षिणपूर्व में स्थित जनपद ट र प्रदेश को ग्राम-घात, नगर-घात, गायों का अपहरण, लोगों का अपहरण, पथिकों को लूटना-पीटना ड र तथा सेंध लगाना आदि उपद्रवों द्वारा उत्पीड़ित और विध्वंस करता रहता था और लोगों को । 15 स्थानहीन आश्रयहीन) व धनहीन (दरिद्र) करता रहता था।
