ज्ञाताधर्मकथांग सूत्र डा 9. Sthavir Dharmaghosh had a disciple named ascetic Dharmaruchi. } indulged in great and rigorous penances and possessed the fire-power, Tejoleshya. He observed the penance of month long fast frequently. It was the day of breaking a month long fast. During the first quarter of the day he meditated and after that continued his daily routine of studies etc. (as
Gautam Swami did). During the third quarter of the day he cleaned his 2 begging bowls. With his bowls he went to Sthavir Dharmaghosh and after 2
seeking his permission went out to collect alms. Going from one house to al other of the rich, middle class, and lower class citizens of Champa he arrived
at the house of Naagshri. 5 कटु तुबे का दान
र सूत्र १० : तए णं सा नागसिरी माहणी धम्मरुइं एज्जमाणं पासइ, पासित्ता तस्स टी 15 सालइयस्स तित्तकडुयस्स बहुसंभारसंजुत्तं णेहावगाढं निसिरणट्ठयाए हट्टतुट्टा उढेइ, उद्वित्ता जेणेव डा र भत्तघरे तेणेव उवागच्छइ, उवागच्छित्ता तं सालइयं तित्तकडुयं च बहुनेहं धम्मरुइस्स अणगारस्स ट र पडिग्गहंसि सव्वमेव निसिरइ। हे सूत्र १0. नागश्री ने जब धर्मरुचि अनगार को आते देखा तो उस कडुए-खराब तुंबे के साग र से छुटकारा पाने का अवसर जान वह प्रसन्न हुई। खड़ी होकर रसोई में गई और सारी की सारी दी 5 कडुवी सब्जी लाकर अनगार के पात्र में डाल दी।

र अदूरसामंते इरियावहियं पडिक्कमइ, अन्नपाणं पडिलेहेइ अन्नपाणं करयलंसि पडिदंसेइ। 5 सूत्र ११ : 'मेरे लिए यह आहार पर्याप्त है' यह जानकर धर्मरुचि अनगार नागश्री के घर से 5 र निकलकर चम्पानगरी में होते हुए सुभूमिभाग उद्यान में लौटे। वहाँ पहुँचकर धर्मघोष स्थविर के टी र निकट ईर्यापथ का प्रतिक्रमण किया और अन्न-पानी का प्रतिलेखन कर गुरु को दिखलाया। 5 11. “This much food is enough for me,” thinking thus Ascetic Dharmaruchi
