સદરહુ મરાઠી પુસ્તકોને ગુજરાતીમાં તરજુ કરવાની લેખક પાસેથી પરવાનગી માગતાં શ્રીયુત સરદેસાઈએ જે લાગણીભર્યો ઉત્તર લખી મોકલ્યો હતો તે એમના હૃદયની વિશાળતા બતાવે છે. તે પછી પૂર્ણ દફતરનું સંપાદન કાર્ય હાથ ધરી તેઓ આજ પર્યત તેમાંથી ૪૦ ગ્રન્થો બહાર પાડવા શક્તિમાન થયા છે અને સરકારે એમની એ સેવાની કદર રા. બા. નો ઇલકાબ બક્ષીને કરેલી છે, એ યોગ્ય જ થયું છે. તાજેતરમાં પટણા યુનિવરસિટિ તરફથી Main Currents of Maratta History એ વિષય પર પાંચ વ્યાખ્યાને એમણે અગાઉ આપ્યાં હતાં, તેની બી0 આવૃત્તિ છપાઈ છે, તે મરાઠી સામ્રાજ્યના અભ્યાસીને બહુ મદદગાર થશે. - સાઈટીને એમણે જે ઉત્તર લખી મોકલ્યો હતો તે નીચે પ્રમાણે છે
