Secretary, Library and committee room, one is used as a record room and one is used for stocking the society's publications. The hall on the first floor known as the Premabhai Hall is used for all important meetings in Ahmedabad. The society has provided the hall with the necessary seating accomodation of chairs and has also fitted it with the convenience of electric lights and fans. The society allows the use of this hall for such public functions as are approved by the Hall committee on a nominal charge of Rs. 21 - 12. When the society put up the said buildings its permanent funds amounted to Rs. 67056-6-8 and the number of trust funds under its management was 55 amounting to Rs. 15467C-13-6. The number of trust funds which the society is at present administering is 145 amounting in all to Rs. 471456-6-8 and the amount of its permanent funds is Rs. 1,56,539-8-6. On account of the additions of books to the society's library, the large and growing collection of manuscripts, the increasing number of its publications, the demand for a good and complete library viz., publications with the necessary references' library of books in English, Sanskrit, and other languages, the need for extension of the hall as well as offices of the society is being keenly felt for a long time. 13. The society have therefore resolved to extend the present buildings and hall and also have the necessary extensions for comfortable locating its library with facilities for scholars and re-search
