का उल्लंघन नहीं किया था । वास्तव में देखा जाय तो यह बात स्पष्ट सिद्ध होती है कि उपदेश से भी आचार पालन की प्रभावकता अधिक है । इस सत्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए जगद्गुरू आ. हीर सूरि जी म. ने अपने संयम जीवन की समुचित मर्यादाओं का पालन करते हुए अपने धर्मोपदेश द्वारा जैन शासन की अद्भुत प्रभावना की थी।
पूज्य आत्मारामजी म. सूक्ष्म प्रज्ञा के धनी थे। अपनी आचार मर्यादाओं को प्रधानता देकर जब उन्होंने 'विश्व धर्म परिषद्' में भाग लेने से इन्कार कर दिया। तब उनकी विद्वता और महानता से प्रभावित होकर परिषद् के अध्यक्ष ने उन्हें जैन धर्म के प्रतिनिधित्व रूप में एक निबंध भिजवाने हेतु और अपने प्रतिनिधि को भिजवाने के लिए आमंत्रण दिया। जब पूज्य आत्मारामजी म. ने इस बात को स्वीकार किया तब परिषद् ने उनका अत्यंत ही आभार मानते हुए जो पत्र लिखा, उससे हमें पूज्य आत्मारामजी म. की विश्व-प्रसिद्धि का आभास हुए बिना न रहेगा।

We are indeed sorry that there is no prospect of having the Muni Atmaramji With us and trust the Community over which he presides will depute some one to represent, If you therefore decide to send a representative, will you kindly cable the fact to me! The paper which learned Muni is preparing, will indeed be very welcome and will be given a place in the programmme in keeping with Chicago are a long distance from you, the name of Muni Atmaramji is frequently alluded to in religious discussions!
