There are three galeris in this building known as Vadnagar vithi. The museum is full of photographs, scultures and coperplates. NON-GOVERNMENT MUSEUM : Among the Non-Government Museums, thc following are worth mentioning. Museum of L. D. Institute of Indology, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad : The museum was established on third October, 1957. It is run by a Private Trust. The Director is the lead of the museum. The museum is having very rich collections on illustrated jain manuscripts, book covers, bronzes, paintings on cloth and paper which are very rare and valuable. The museum is very famous for valuable exhibits representing Jain art and culture. It possesses unique collection on Jain paintings, manuscripts bronzes. The Gujarat Museum Society (N.C.Mehta collection) The museum is famous for Shri N. C. Mehta collection which includes 585 miniature paintings, 12 books covers and 483 manuscript folios. The collection of miniature paintings include several schools such, as Marwar, Malwa, Bikaner, Bundikota, Bundelkhand, Mughal, Basoli and Kangra. Museum of B. J. Institute of Learning & Research, Ashram Raod, Ahmedabad. Director of the B. J. Institute is the hcad of the museum. The museum collections include coins, sculptures, manuscripts in Sanskrit, Prakrit, Hindi, Gujarati, Arabic and Persian Paintings and stone inscriptions are interesting. Karnavati : Atit ni zānkhi, City Museum, Ahmedabad . It is institution to nurture and restore the values, ethos, pride and aspirations of is conceived as a cultural node of a living heritage. Ahmedabad has been perhaps the only urban centre in the country developing on its own terms relaying entirely on its own resources. This has been possible as its people invested their time and vision in city's development affairs. The unbroken chain of individuals, industry and institutions has been fundamental to the city of Ahmedabad. As a result, economy, culture, crat art, architecture or its administration and politics has been interwined. It is consciously designed to bring out these interrelated facets of city. City museum emphasises on representative value of the artifacts. It is housed in a building designed by internationally renowned french architect Le Corbusier in 1954. Shreyas Folk Museum, Ambavadi, Ahmedabad This is the first Folk art museum of its kind in Gujarat. The museum was established in 1977 by the Shreyas Foundation, Ahmedabad.
