Nearly 5,000 exhibits are exhibited in the museum Museum of Archaeology and Ancient History, Department of Archaeology and
Ancient History, M. S. University, Vadodara.
The Museum was established in 1950. It is run by the M.S.University of Vadodara. The museum is famous for unique collection on Buddhist antiquities and works of art discovered from Devni-mori of North Gujarat as a result of excavation by the Department of Archaeology. The museum is also noted for its interesting collection on prehistory and protohistory of Gujarat discovered from various sites of Gujarat as a result of cxcavations. There are models of fossil-men which are very interesting for students. The interesting exhibits are: (1) Buddhist relics from the famous Devni mori stupa of Sabarkantha District, (2) Copper plate dated to 486 A.D., (3) A pot dated to 2000 B.C. Maharaja Fateshsinh Museum, Laxmi Vilas Palace Compound, Vadodara.
The museum was established in 1961. The collection includes copies of Greek, Roman and later European sculptures, master pieces of European oil paintings, sculptures by Felici, French furnitures etc. The museum collection fall into many categories. However, it is noted for oil paintings by Ravi Varma, sculpturcs made of marble, Greeco-Roman arts, Chinese and Japanese art etc. The oil paintings respresenting members of the then Gaekwad princely ruling family are striking.
The museum was established in 1932. It is run by the Municipal Corporation.

The museum was established in 1949. It is run by the college authorities of the department of medical education. The Museum is noted for collections on human anatomy, abnormalities seen in human body, normal and abnormal features, specimens of comparative anatomy of different animals.
