Rephaites (History of Israel pg. 7). ईसा मसीह के विषय में भी यह कहा जाता है कि उन्होंने भारत की यात्रा की थी । वे यहाँ निर्ग्रन्थ मुनियों के विषय में सुनकर ही भारत आये थे और यहाँ उनके पास रहकर उनसे ज्ञान प्राप्त किया था । श्री जिनेश्वर दास जैन ने लिखा है “It has been reported by a few historians that Lord Jesus visited desert of India... Lord Christ must have heard about the popularity and miracles of naked Jain Monks in Greece. Hence he decided to come to Rajasthan to meet such naked sadhus and know more about them and their way of living and their religious philosophy. Lord Christ must have been profoundly impressed by their strict austerities and then he decided to remain naked when he reached back to his country. Probably his naked way of life must have been vehemently opposed by the Roman Kinfa and rulers. Otherwise there could be no other reason for one of the greatest saints of that period to meet an opposition leading to such end results.
