__एवामेव गोयमा ! जीवा पाणाइवायवेरमणेणं जाव मिच्छादसण-सल्लवेरमणेणं अणुपुव्वेणं अट्ठकम्मपगडीओ खवेत्ता गगणतलमुप्पइत्ता उप्पिं लोयग्गपइटाणा भवंति। एवं खलु गोयमा ! जीवा लहुयत्तं हव्वमागच्छंति। __सूत्र ५. “हे गौतम ! अब यदि गीला होने के कारण उस तूंबे का ऊपरी लेप गलकर नष्ट हो जाये तो वह तूंबा उस जलराशि से नीचे रही धरती की सतह से कुछ ऊपर उठ आता है। इसी प्रकार एक के बाद एक आठों लेप नष्ट हो जाने पर वह तूंबा निर्लेप या बन्धनहीन होकर ऊपर उठता जाता है और जल की सतह पर आ जाता है। __"हे गौतम ! इसी प्रकार हिंसा आदि अठारह पाप स्थानकों को नष्ट करने से, त्याग देने से जीव क्रमशः आठ कर्म-प्रवृत्तियों का क्षय करता है और आकाश में उड़कर लोकाग्र पर पहुँच जाता है। जीव इस तरह शीघ्र ही लघुता को प्राप्त होता है।" THE LIGHT STATE
5. "Gautam! Now, if the uppermost layer is softened by the surrounding water and washes off, the gourd rises a little from the bottom. One by one when all the eight layers are washed off the gourd becomes clean and light and rises to the surface of the water body.
"Gautam! Similarly when a being destroys or refrains from indulgence in the eighteen sinful activities he sheds the fused eight types of Karmas, rises above the surface of the earth and reaches the zenith of the living universe. This is how a being reaches the light state." उपसंहार __ सूत्र ६. एवं खलु जंबू ! समणेणं भगवया महावीरेणं छट्ठस्स नायज्झयणस्स अयमढे पन्नत्ते ति बेमि।
सूत्र ६. हे जंबू ! श्रमण भगवान महावीर ने छठे ज्ञाताध्ययन का यही अर्थ कहा है। ऐसा मैं कहता हूँ। CONCLUSION
